Sir Oliver Popplewell

Sir Oliver Popplewell (Charterhouse Friars) died on 6 June aged 96. At the time of his death, he was the oldest living Cricketer Cup player, having played for the Friars in the first competition in 1967. Apart from his distinguished legal career, he was also a Cambridge Blue and President of MCC from 1994-96.
