Re-played Second Round Match

Old Merchant Taylors managed to dodge the rain and win a tight game with Bradfield Waifs in their re-played second round match. The contest was reduced to a T20 game because of a wet morning and poor forecast. The Merchant Taylors’ school ground was unavailable, but the ground staff at the OMT club worked wonders in making the ground fit for play, Aaran Amin top scored with 63 in the OMT innings, Charlie Gwynn the pick of the Bradfield bowlers with 2-8 in his 4 overs. The Waifs finished 14 runs short with 2 balls left when they were bowled out for 119, Aaran Amin completing a good day with 3-33 and Ravi Patel 2-13. OMTs now travel to Millfield for the quarter-final.
