Quarter Final Replay

Old Millfieldians reached their first Cricketer Cup semi-final by beating Old Mechant Taylors in their replayed match. Millfield scored 211 thanks to 58 from Greg Willows and an 8th wicket partnership of 49 between Charlie Ellison and Chris Hellings. Jawwad Rasheed took 3-32 in his 10 overs. In reply OMTs were reeling at 42-6 but Adam Brand and Aaran Amin put on 85 to give their side hope. Julius Sumerauer came back to take two wickets in addition to three of the early ones, including Amin for 78, and he finished with 5-29 in his 10 overs. Old Millfieldians now travel to Malvern for their semi-final next Sunday, the winners meeting either Oundle Rovers or Eton Ramblers in the final.
