Cricketer Trophy Draw 2021
The Cricketer Cup website is delighted to host the details of the draw for the Cricketer Trophy in 2021. The Cricketer Trophy is another prestigious knock-out competition for alumni cricket clubs. The fact that 50 alumni teams will be competing for the two trophies in 2021 shows the interest there is in cricketers playing for their alumni clubs when they leave school. The Cricketer Cup looks to the most successful sides in the Cricketer Trophy when it is considering expansion of its own competition and, in recent years, Old Millfieldians and Lancing Rovers have joined. The Cricketer Trophy is hoping to increase the number of clubs competing in 2022 and 2023, so, if there are other alumni clubs wishing to join, please get in touch with its Secretary, Rich Brown of Old Hamptonians Cricket Club on ohacricket@gmail.com.
The draw for 2021 is set out below, and will be found a more permanent place on the website. The draw establishes the route to the final. For those in the dark as to the school provenance of the named clubs, with no fewer than five King’s schools, the school name is put in brackets afterwards:
