Bradfield Waif selected for England

Bradfield Waif Gus Atkinson will make his Test debut at Lord’s on Wednesday and become the 41st Test Cricketer to play in the Cricketer Cup.

He will join Zak Crawley (Old Tonbridgians) and Ollie Pope (Old Cranleighans) in the England side which also includes Ben Duckett (Stowe) and Jamie Smith, the latest off the Whitgift production line.

Atkinson has played 2 CC matches: 2017 Second Round v Old Wellingtonians where he made 57 and took 3/45, and 2018 Second Round v Oundle Rovers making 91.
