The Cricketer Cup finally resumed on Sunday 6 June and, in the two bye round matches played, there were wins for Lancing Rovers and Bradfield Waifs. At Lancing, on the Rovers’ return to the Cricketer Cup, the home side amassed the huge total of 397-9 in their 50 overs, R. Maskell making 150 off only 80 balls.
