Bradfield Waifs win inaugural Over 50s Cricketer Cup

At Bradfield yesterday the Waifs won the first Cricketer Cup to be held for Over 50s. Their opponents, Oundle Rovers, posted a good score of 187-5, former ECB CEO Tom Harrison top-scoring with 53. Bradfield overtook this to win by 5 wickets, former Hampshire batsman Will Kendall on 67 not out.

5 Teams competed in this year’s competition but several others have asked to join in 2025.
